New Years and the Markets in Bangkok Dec 30- Jan 1

Our new Years celebration was spend having a nice dinner at a Japanese restaurant and then we ventured into the mass of people gathering in central world center.  As we began to move through the crowd to find a place we soon realized that the time it would take to get out of the center when the clock struck midnight world be longer than staying was worth, so we retreated to our hotel and watched fireworks from our rooftop across the city. It was beautiful.  We also spend a day at a local market. You can see below some of the crazy things they were selling there (squirrels, owls, baby turtles, ect).
